Split Personality

Ok—so everything you have read says that having a Split Personality is a bad thing.  But—with this new quilt using Deb Tucker’s sensational tools, a Split Personality is a good thing!

This quilt uses two of Deb’s tools that we haven’t really explored a lot.   The Split Rects tool makes split rectangle units the easy way (of course) and the new Four Patch Square Up tool guarantees precise 4-patch units.  This quilt works with a scrappy palette or one that is more “organized”.  Hint on fabric choices: plan on having your Split Rects units in a darker fabric and the 4-patch units in a medium.  This quilt design definitely benefits from having the split rectangle units as the predominant colors.

The quilt finishes at 36” square so it is perfect for a wall hanging or table topper.  Class requires Split Rects and Four Patch Square Up tools.  The pattern will be included with the class.  If you need any tools, contact Gina at the store (805-579-1571) no less than two weeks before class date to ensure that your tools arrive on time.
